Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict are now separated, but that has not stopped them from coming together for their kids. Tia was always clear about wanting to focus on their kids, and with Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all following their announcement, it’s understandable that they would have to spend time together even if they are no longer romantically linked.
Tia and Cory have taken very different approaches to their split since their October announcement. Tia has been focusing heavily on her health and wellness with posts centered around self-care and rediscovery. Her most recent post was a before and after of her workout regimen showing how Tia Mowry has shed a ton of weight jumping rope and using several different machines. She also frequently posts more spiritually-centered posts showing her meditating, journaling, and more.
Tia Mowry has also done some press, discussing how divorce felt like “graduation” and thanking Cory for their kids and all the years of memories. Tia has been careful never to accuse her ex-husband of anything and takes sole responsibility for not putting herself first throughout the marriage. Many speculate that because Tia was already an established star at the time she met Cory, that much of their relationship was centered around helping him get his career off the ground.
Cory seems to be fully focused on that and has primarily been using his social media to plug the current season of All American: Homecoming. “Coach Marcus will Always lead from the back! All New Episode tonight with my young ⭐️’s said in a post from a week ago. This week he also celebrated a film called “To Live & Die and Live” that he announced will be heading to Sundance. “Proud of my brother @qasimabasir we headed to @sundanceorg with this one…A true labor of love, a special group God is Great.”
TMZ recently caught up with Tia Mowry to ask how she has been doing with all the changes recently in her life. The starlet answered an immediate “yes” when asked if she would be spending the holidays with Cory. “Yes, we are!” she told TMZ. “We are going to be spending the holidays with him, which we’re really excited about, with the whole family.” The reporter went along to ask if more divorced families should spend time together for the holidays, and Tia answered, “family is family no matter what happens, and that’s what’s important to me, so we will always be family.”
Tia Mowry has been honest about wanting to keep their family intact for their kids. Her initial announcement said, “We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
This does not mean she is done with her self healing journey, recently saying in her story, “the work we do on ourselves is our gift to others.”
