Curtis Jackson, the unrelenting emcee known as 50 Cent, as well as the Powerful actor and Film and Television producer, never fails to remind us that he always has one in the chamber.
His latest spat with former G-Unit group and label mate, Young Buck, displays the same penchant for verbal jousting that he’s employed for his entire career.
ICYMI, the makings of a feud bubbled around a misunderstanding on the availability of his music catalog back in February 2019. As Young Buck stated, “It’s come to my knowledge that a cease a desist was sent out from G-Unit Records to a certain distribution label dealing with my music. I think me and the fans wanna know: Am I an artist still on G-Unit Records? Cause if that’s the case, don’t you think I need to go ahead and complete whatever’s on my contract?” Apparently, the rapper’s recordings were taken down from all streaming services without any formal disclosure.
Jackson fired back as we’d all expect he would. In a since deleted Instagram post, he charged at his former collaborator, “If your in a relationship with a tranny, your gay. That’s a boy, Boy. It’s cool Buck you gonna be big down at the gay bars.” Additionally, “He worked hard on this project. I told him his personal choice to date a tran sexual will confuse some of his core audience but with the support of the LGBT he should be fine.”

Now seizing a fresh opportunity to hurl another tacit assault on Young Buck’s masculinity, Fifty roped in Lil Nas X’s Halloween Costume; the Old Town Road artist dressed, photographed, and styled- complete with body prosthetics- just as Nicki Minaj was in her SuperBass music video.
In a once-again deleted Instagram post, Curtis included a four-by-four photo of Lil Nas X and the original Nicki Minaj image that served as his inspiration. He captioned the post with, “I think young Buck & lil nas x might make a love connection, if he get a BBL (laugh emoji) LOL he look like his last lover. (thinking emoji) junior is that you junior? (eyebrow emoji).” The photo also included the alleged transgender woman that Jackson implicated as being romantically involved with Young Buck.

He also posted a photo of Young Buck and Lil Nas X side-by-side captioned, “New young Buck (Fresh Out the Barn) ft Little Nas X Coming July 4” in a removed post.
Fifty also apparently wasn’t a fan of Lil Nas X’s celebration in general. He posted the photo of the rapper’s festive emulation with Nicki’s template on Twitter. Accompanying the visual juxtaposition, he wrote, “what the f—, Nikki come get him!!! Lol”
Lil Nas X, to the boon of his fans and others repulsed by Jackson’s incessant toxicity, replied in a retweet, “why u in barb business?”
It would be revealed months ago that, the rapper behind the smash hit, genre-fusing, Old Town Road, ran a wildly popular Nicki Minaj fan account on twitter and his costumed portrayal of her is nothing more than a gesture of flattery.
Fans all over social media would drag Jackson for his trolling. ”One Twitter user commented, “This what happens when rappers like yourself don’t stand on anything but your wallet. Yall let this stuff become normalized in hip hop when it should’ve been cut off at the gate.”
