Missouri Police Looking For White Man After He Allegedly Shot A Black Woman After Calling Her The N-Word

Missouri law enforcement officials are now searching for a man who allegedly assaulted and shot a Black woman after a dispute. Adam Lee Pillow has been accused of the crime against April Brown. The incident took place on Aug 7th in Arnold, Missouri a suburb of St. Louis. Brown told KDSK she encountered the man when she got into an argument with her friend’s roommate. Brown says she was only there for 10 minutes before Pillow confronted her.

“This white guy came out of nowhere,” Brown said. “Looked at me and said four times f-word, N-word, N-word, N-word.”

The incident got worse when Pillow pulled out a firearm and pointed it toward Brown’s friend forehead according to KMOX. Then he pointed the gun at Brown and hit her with it. The impact caused the gun to discharge which hit Brown. Brown suffered graze wounds to her ear and neck.

“I was kind of out of it,” she said. “My hearing at that point was gone. There was blood pouring out the left side of my face, pouring out.”

Pillow ran away from the scene and hasn’t been seen since. A judge has since issued a no-bond warrant for Pillow’s arrest for charges including armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and second-degree assault. Brown said she traumatized by the incident, which left her with physical wounds that will have to be fixed with plastic surgery.

“I can’t eat at all, not even applesauce,” she said. “Very scared that he’s still out there.”

Pillow has been described as approx. 5 feet 11 inches and 200 pounds according to The St. Louis Post Dispatch.
