Jaguar Wright Gets Emotional Revealing Cryptic Details On What Actually Happened To Aaliyah, Says “F-ing Awful What THEY Did To That Woman”

Neo-Soul singer, Jaguar Wright, who rocketed into stardom on Jay-Z’s MTV Unplugged live performance in the Fall of 2001, is back with some new salacious claims about The Roots, Common, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Talib Kweli an whole host of other people.

In addition to some fiery interviews given since the recent passing of Roots founding member, Malik B, Wright pulled no punches in recounting her experiences with the aforementioned fellow artists and collaborators on a lengthy video posted on to her Instagram page.

About Talib Kweli, “F–in Talib Kweli used to come to Black Lily in New York and hide out in the green room when we were getting changed, especially me, to watch me get dressed and undressed before I got on stage. And then wait for nobody to be looking to sneak out…I been holding all this trying to make all you crazy backpack n*ggas look good.”

Jaguar goes in on the Roots’ indiscretions on Tour being exposed to a barrage of adult videos at breakfast and urging people to keep quiet about R. Kelly’s behavior, ““Look at R. Kelly, The Roots was around when that [man] was sending his driver around to go get girls from what was the middle school—They brought ’em to the studio. They brought ’em to Larry Gold’s studio and I was told to mind my business if I wanted to keep my career.  A member of The Roots told me that, ‘That ain’t none of your business. That man makes people millionaires.’ You know how responsible I feel for the women I let get hurt because I didn’t say nothing,”

Her insinuations about Common, are perhaps the most surprising. In a retelling of her thoughts during an alleged incident, the singer accused the rapper of taking advantage of her while she was sleeping.

She went on speaking about his past relationships. “I don’t even know why he running around parading around here with all these public relations relationships that never seem to last. When’s the last time he actually had a real [woman]? You was with Serena that didn’t work out. You was with whoever and whoever. You always got whose hot dating you but the s–t don’t last long. He ain’t been right since Lauryn Hill left him anyway.”

Also, Wright tells, “Then he got with Erykah and then Erykah was jealous as f– of me. That song “Booty” on that second album. That was about me. She made that up at Black Lily in New York. That line, ‘Your booty might be bigger but I still can pull your n—a but I don’t want him.’”

Additionally, she had some words about the late R&B star Aaliyah where she became visibly emotional stating there’s a lot to be said, but sticking to a very basic outline. “It’s f*ckin’ awful what the did to that woman. She was amazing.” What more there is to be unearthed on that cryptic comment…one may wonder, for now.
