‘She Deserves It’: Bow Wow Sends Angela Simmons Well-Wishes After She Confirms Relationship with Her New Boxer Bae

It looks like Bow Wow wants to see his former boo Angela Simmons happy — even if it’s not with him.

It’s no secret the “Girlfriend” rapper and Simmons have history together. The pair dated as teenagers and their past relationship was the focal point of “Growing Up Hip Hop” last season. Although fans were rooting for Bow Wow and the 32-year-old fashionista to rekindle their love, Simmons had other intentions.

The “Built Not Bought” founder recently went public with her and boxer bae Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs‘ romance and sent the internet into a frenzy. Bow Wow claimed he was extremely happy for Simmons and was one of the first people to congratulate her on her relationship with Jacobs.

“That’s my dog man we been telling y’all we just friends. Man I’m happy for her,” Bow Wow said in an Instagram Live video on Monday, Aug. 10.

“I was excited, she deserves it. And he’s a good dude, and a hell of a fighter too, y’all know I love my sports,” he continued. “I’m happy as s–t for her. And besides, y’all know I’m still outchea you know what I mean. I’m still outside. Being with me wasn’t gon’ be the right thing to do.”

Folks applauded Bow Wow’s “mature” response about Simmons’ love life.

“They have always been friends So I’m sure he is happy for angela but I’m glade he is able to admit he is not a good choice n that he is not ready to settle down just yet I can respect that !!!!!!” one fan said.

“Bow Wow in a better head space. That’s awesome! It may hurt him but at least he show the good side of A REAL MAN,” another added.

Someone else said, “That was really mature of him ❤️ Now that’s a man. I hope he keep that same energy when two years roll pass so he can still see if he wanna marry her.”

Bow Wow and Simmons say they dated off and on during their late teens and early 20s. She claimed that he wasn’t ready for a serious relationship during the time they were dating.

As for Simmons and Jacobs, she recently posted sweet snaps of the two of them on Instagram and pretty much confirmed their relationship. Gossip sites report the new couple have been dating for quite a while.
