A viral video shows a Michigan woman setting fire to a Jeep in an apartment complex parking lot. Once she sets the car on fire the flames throw her on the ground. The woman in the video has now been identified as Sydney Parham.
Police arrested the 26-year-old during a traffic stop the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office announced according The Sun. Parham allegedly caught her boyfriend cheating which led to her touching the vehicle. Police confirmed the video circulating on social media is not related to an incident from Tuesday when a woman reportedly set the car of a man she had a relationship with on fire.
The video was posted to YouTube by user ppv_tahoe. The Macomb County Sheriff’s office has confirmed the video is the same incident that Parham was charged in according to FOX 6. Once the local fire department got to the scene nobody was near the area. Then after talking to witnesses and reviewing the video of the fire being set, officers arrested Parham. Parham has been charged with third-degree arson, a felony, and being held on a $20,000 personal bond. She’s due back in court August 5th.
